How to combine German precision with Czech spontaneity? The new office space for the Prague branch of one of the world’s largest digital agencies had to answer this and many other questions. Over the course of six months, we searched for and implemented solutions that would be maximally functional while strongly encouraging creativity and enthusiasm among all employees. The premises, located in a former research institute, already carried a distinctive industrial atmosphere that needed to be respected, both in its structure and order. The space is organized according to the needs of individual teams, and within the open hall, it was essential to create variety and define smaller, autonomous zones.
The central design element is the diagonal axis, which functions as a corridor or an internal street. Meeting rooms, collaboration boxes, kitchens, lounge areas, and many other facilities are gradually unfold along this line. Beginning at the main entrance and ending on an open terrace, this axis gives the entire space a sense of movement and dynamism, what are crucial aspects for a company that works fluidly and continuously online across the globe. For us, it was a new and deeply inspiring experience. Thank you, S2!
