MEADOW LIBRARY

A library in a meadow surrounded by vineyards and forests, literally in the middle of nowhere. A place to stop by to read a book, just to be and breathe, to recharge. A place for a short or a long meditations, lounging, or perhaps just to make a new or strengthen an old friendships. An utopian or a brilliant idea? This meadow library was created as a reaction to wandering through the Mikulov landscape, as well as a reaction to the absence of any place to rest. For us relaxation is represented also as a time spent with a quality book.  

So it wasn't far to the idea of coming up with a place where you would go and enjoy a nice book, all the way through the quiet Mikulov highlands. Does this idea fill you with a peace? Does it remind you of a spiritual pilgrimage? Without exaggeration, that is how it might be interpreted. The meadow library symbolically and literally represents a modern place of pilgrimage, a sanctuary of peace, but also just an ordinary bivouac, or simply a great opportunity to hang out with your friends outside the usual places.
