Six years later, we return to the Karlin Palace, home of the marketing agency Czech Promotion, to design another distinctive workspace spanning over 1,000 m2. The new offices stand apart from contemporary corporate design trends through their openness, dynamism, diverse textures and inventive use of recycled materials.
The layout emphasizes two key principles: movement and communication. At the heartof the open space is a dynamic, multifunctional corridor lined with rounded mini meeting rooms. A defining aspect of the project was the focus on recycling and sourcing sustainable, logistically practical and economically accessible materials. This reflects one of the agency’s core philosophies: designing functional solutions that achieve maximum effect at minimum cost.
Within the interior, you’ll find a window filled with wine bottles, glass partitions made from the building’s original windows, salvaged doors and ceilings made of steel reinforcement mesh that also wraps around columns. The wall cladding was crafted from reclaimed wooden beams. The space interweaves renovated vintage furniture with modern Czech pieces and custom-built elements, including an almost nine-meter-long communal workbench.
The curved meeting rooms are lined with cushioned panels providing excellent acoustic comfort. White color unifies the raw, exposed textures, like brick walls, fireproof coatings and visible technical systems, creating a coherent visual language for the interior. Greenery grows and spreads throughout the space, gradually taking over the white surfaces – a living metaphor for the company’s vitality and organic growth. Construction was managed by 4interior & Tiles. The interior features brands such as TON, Lucis, Oresi, Princ Parket, Barkotex, Hager, Monobrand, Egoé, Textil s citem, and Maimana.
